1950

Chief John Basil Mandilas incorporated the business known today as Mandilas Group Limited.

1953

Mandilas was appointed the first & sole general importer and distributor for Volkswagen Motor vehicles in Nigeria.

1955

Mandilas secured exclusive rights to distribute Carrier Air Conditioners in Nigeria.

1972

Norman Industries Limited, a subsidiary of Mandilas Group manufactured the first room air-conditioner in Africa, many years before any other company could achieve the same feat.

2003

Mandilas was accredited as a leading Toyota automobile dealer in Nigeria.
