About the John Basil Mandilas Foundation

The John Basil Mandilas Foundation is a structured non-operating organization with a carefully selected Board of Trustees that ensures the Foundation and its activities impact our immediate environment, supports indigent students in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, upgrade schools within our community to enhance their learning capacity, and also support gender equality in STEM.

The Foundation is a private organisation and derives majority of its funding from Mandilas Group Limited.

Our Focus

Mandilas Academy

The Mandilas Academy is a skills-based learning and development initiative designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world practice in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. It aims to nurture the next generation of HVAC professionals through a competitive selection process, comprehensive training modules, and immersive internship experiences with leading industry players.

Eligibilty:

  • Students between ages 18 to 30
  • OND Holders
  • Students of Yabatech Mechanical or Electrical Engineering department
  • Female Engineers are encouraged to enroll.

Application Process:

  • Follow @mandilasgroup
  • Send a 2-minute video or a 750-word essay stating your motivation for enrollment
  • Faculty will shortlist the top applications
  • Selected applicants will be interview by Mandilas Group.
